About bullet points
The bullet is typography's list-maker: a small filled mark that says 'a new item starts here' without numbering it. Unicode offers it round, triangular, square and inverted, plus the tiny bullet operator used in mathematics.
Weights matter at small sizes: the plain bullet (•) can nearly vanish in light typefaces, which is what the heavy and black variants are for. The middle dot (·) is a separate, older character — an interpunct — often pressed into the same job.
